Guy Pegg of Allen was re elected as Chairman of the Pontotoc County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Committee at the annual convention of community ASC delegates held in Ada on October 27, 1959. Henry Little and B. B. Ownbey were re elected Vice chairman and third regular member respectively. G. L. Bain and Jim Young were chosen as alternates. On Tuesday night November 3 the Roff School lunch room will host a covered dish dinner and Thanksgiving program sponsored by the Roff Sportsman Club and Women's Auxiliary.

Ruby Fowler of Ada pursued Mrs. A H Mercer Sr after a Wednesday incident and Mercer remained in Ada visiting through the following Monday.
Evert Summers was admitted to Robberson-Shirley Hospital in Wynnewood Wednesday night after a heart attack. By the weekend he had improved enough to come out from the oxygen tent and stay under observation.

Mr and Mrs A H Mercer Jr with Bonnie Jimmie and Melvin of Oklahoma City spent Thursday and Friday with his mother Mrs A H Mercer Sr They transacted business in Wynnewood on Friday.
