A gravel truck veered into a guard rail on highway 48 near Ada late Tuesday, overturning and tossing its occupants. Clarence Sims of Ahloso drove the southbound vehicle with Landon and her young son as passengers. no one was hospitalized. Deputy sheriffs Shockley and Rogers managed traffic and investigated.

Charlie Sheppard, 66, of Union Valley area, suffered severe injuries to his left hand and a broken arm after a hit and run along Highway 19 about 100 miles southeast of Ada on Tuesday evening.
