J. T. Williams a city barber died in Ardmore Oklahoma of heart failure and was found Saturday morning. He was the son of Gen. Wilkins of Norman a commander in the United Confederate Veterans of Oklahoma. He leaves a widow.

Death of a nine year old in Tulsa family on Cherry Street
The nine year old son of Mr. Tulsa and his wife on Cherry and Main street died this morning after a lingering fever. The funeral was held this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the new cemetery.

Senator Amos Hays Slashed by Nephew in Ada
Early Tuesday night Amos Hays Chickasaw senator living near Ada received a dangerous knife wound from his nephew Dan Hays in the Indian joint building near Ada. The wound along the throat required twenty stitches, and Amos returned home after seeking medical aid. Dan Hays was arrested by City Marshal Mitchell and turned over to federal authorities.

Drunken Farmer Slays Wife and Children then Commits Suicide
C B Heywood of Gage Oklahoma shot and killed his wife two daughters aged 22 and 18 and a son 20 before turning the gun on himself. Family trouble prompted the tragedy as Heywood returned home drunk and shot the upstairs occupants as they awakened.
