Delbert Thompson from Ahloso reports a 40 by 30 foot bean patch yielding three crops of beans in 55 days. He re-fertilized after each harvest and cultivated each row with a rotor tiller, starting with Top Crop beans then Pintos, each harvest producing about ten gallons. Thompson also grew turnips peppers onions okra and large tomato quantities, gifting beans and canning 70 quarts of tomatoes.
