Two well dressed men hijacked the Continental filling station at Broadway and Thirteenth last night around 9 45 PM netting about 34 dollars. Suicide pact ends in death of Verl Roe in Guthrie
Verl Roe 22 of Guthrie died after a suspected suicide pact with Madelyn Pinkerton 16. Miss Pinkerton was hospitalized in critical condition after both drank poison at Roe's sister Beulah Rinegar's home. Roe died within a half hour. Pinkerton began to fall ill after his death.
