Mrs. Eva May Granger Dies at 83 in Ada
Eva May Granger 83 of 1231 S Stockton Ada died today in an Ada hospital. Services Friday 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church Ada with Rev Herman Ging officiating. Burial in Rosedale Cemetery Criswell Funeral Home in charge. Survived by daughter Elizabeth Ross Ada son James E Ross Ada sister Willie Blackwell San Bernardino and granddaughter Mary Ann Lockwood with two great grandchildren. Born February 23 1886 in Grayson County Texas married Ed Granger May 5 1915 Ada moved from Britton Oklahoma in 1915. Mr Granger died September 13 1953 in Ada. Charter member Fortnightly Study Club sponsor of Douglass Bible Study Club long time Methodist. Taught Sunday School for many years.

First Accident Of October Reported In Ada
The first October accident in Ada occurred at 8 30 a m in the 600 block of West Main. Richard Earl Slough driving a hay laden semitrailer struck a car stopped for a red light injuring its driver Charles R Janssen. Slough faced driving too close and no commercial operator license charges while other local court actions included drunkenness fines and various traffic offenses.

White skin grafts give burn victim new life in 1964
Pauline Price survived a severe burn after skin grafts from a deceased white donor treated with RNA reduced rejection. Doctors at Loma Linda and USC Center used RNA soaked donor tissue to cover 40 percent of her body, creating large white patches and sparking consideration of RNA as a tool to improve transplants and reduce immune reaction.
