A massive bombardment of Adrianople begins at dawn as Bulgarian and Turkish forces clash. Bulgarian guns, masked to surprise forts, shell Turkish positions while searchlights reveal ruined masonry and rising debris in a night of heavy artillery and rain.
An assorted cache of short lines mentions Roy Lumpkin and Lee Pike fading away, inquiries about A. PD. Bevel’s status, a question to Story about staying with the group, Frost damaging cotton, Wm. Barringer shipping cattle, John Bossa repairing a house, and Henry Oliver fearing warm weather will ruin opossum hides. Ada bird hunters warned to stay out of Triplet’s cotton patch.
Ada promoters announce a poultry show on January 16 17 with cash premiums ribbons and a WK score card for each entry. The Ada Pontotoc Poultry Association aims to make it the biggest show in the area and secure the best judge possible.
A letter from Anthony Kansas dated November 21 1912 to Ada Trading Co Ada Oklahoma promotes a carload shipment of flour. It claims 100 percent better quality due to new machinery producing whiter flour and urges confidence in the product while inviting continued patronage and wider trade.
In Oalahom City Oklahoma on November 25 opinion grows that the Fourth legislature will not abolish state schools despite Governor Cruce's warnings. Governors calls for trimming costs clash with strong local opposition and lobbying from school towns as lawmakers weigh which institutions to close or keep. Senator F W Anderson proposes a statewide ballot on every educational institution to decide which remain open. The State Board and Agriculture board resist tampering, fearing forced closures.
The Gubin- Barack Co closed suddenly leaving Ada with a major stocked store in liquidation. Arthur Leeser Co of St Louis Mo to liquidate the stock under T I Nept. T E Graham and family return to Ada after months in Greeley Colorado.
Stonewall preparations push a December 4 vote on a stock law. The measure aims to regulate livestock yards and animal handling within the town limits as residents consider proposed changes.
Oklahoma normal schools are gathering data from the states of Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas and others to compare programs, costs and enrollment with leading normals. The effort aims to verify performance and inform the public, while the state mails textbook adoption notices to teachers and boards.
Egypt residents reflect on Thanksgiving and health mood. Visits include Cora Palmer with Bes sie Danley. Homer Williams moves to Ada. Grandpa Palmer recovering from illness. Dinner guests at J JH Griffiths Center and social visits with Harris and Binion families. Box supper planned for December 5 invites all to bring a filled box.
Temple Texas Nov 26 reports a large clergy and laity gathering in Burlington Milam county to honor the fifty years of service of Rev Father Lowery pastor of the local Catholic church marked as the first sacerdotal jubilee in Texas with many attending from the area and beyond.
George Thomason enters the auctioneering business and will be on the street every Saturday. Dr G H Truax was up from Stonewall on Tuesday. J Hi Williams traveled to Stonewall on Thursday as a passenger.

Oswego New York November 26 Dr Mary K Walker a noted advocate of woman rights and dress reform is eighty today Born November 26 1832 she studied at Syrcuse Medical College and became the first woman physician to serve as an army assistant surgeon during the Civil War She later led the woman suffrage movement and was known for wearing men’s dress during much of her career
The East Oklahoma Conference of the M E church South held its annual session in Holdenville Oklahoma with Bishop Candler urging thorough effort. Rev M A Cassidy reported 1900 conversions this year with over 65 percent men. Tahlequah was chosen for next conference and Holdenville praised for hospitality.
This morning a number of citizens escorted the visiting Prisco agents on auto rides to the normal and the cement plant and around the city. Mr. McNair said they were highly pleased with their visit to Ada and with the reception. They expressed hope to meet at Ada again soon.
Advert says a 14 hand pony mare with one eye is missing. She is thin and valued at about 40 to 50 dollars. Reward offered at Oklahoma State Bank for recovery.
Sunday afternoon a Christian Endeavor society was organized at the Presbyterian church with twelve present. Officers elected include Bailey M. Bobbitt as president Mrs M B Molloy first vice president Mollie Russell second vice president Beatrice Black corresponding secretary Paul Y Norreil recording secretary Harvey Black treasurer Margaretta Black O T Zanikt.
