Buster Sheppard of Coalgate remained in critical condition with severe head injuries and throat cuts after a Saturday night crash near Union Valley southeast of Ada. Elias and Wilson Palmer, two Indian brothers from Coalgate, and Paul Byrd, a 10 year old Union Valley boy, died in the wreck when a car carrying the Palmers and Sheppard struck a trailer attached to a truck.
