Ada City Council approves water sale to Rural Water District 4
The Ada council approved selling water to Rural Water District No. 4 with an FHA commitment of 120000. A new 5½ to 6 mile line from Brick Plant Road will serve 80 to 100 rural homes and Superior Clay Products and possibly Kerr Laboratory. Council members warned they will closely review any future rural districts.

Angus Breeders Have Big Sale At Pontotoc County Fair
The Pontotoc County Angus Association held its fourth annual sale in the fairgrounds livestock building. Total gross reached 47000 with 51 cows averaging 244.50 and 31 bulls totaling 10090 at 325 average. Highest cow sold for 660 to O Neal Harvey of Shawnee. top bull at 525 bought by R H Stokes of Roff. Commercial cattle netted 24875, average 155. Sale postponed to November to use new facilities. association gains statewide notice. Local Bulls Score Strong Gains in Holdenville Test
Local ranches push bulls to top marks in Holdenville testing. Murray Corbin of Tishomingo posts the second ranking Angus pen with an average gain of 3.66 daily. Dr. H. D. Hall and Carlton Corbin also place top in Angus. Hereford pens led by Dr. G. T.
