Self Defense Claim In Taverns Shooting Case
County Attorney Pat Holman said the shooting of Cris Roberts by King McElroy at the 99 Tavern was in self defense after a tavern brawl. McElroy had been jailed but was released as evidence points to self defense while Roberts remained in hospital in poor condition Friday. Odom of Ada and Rex Lowery of Konawa were involved in the Wednesday night fight.
