Murray Dismisses Injunction Suit In Oklahoma City
Governor Murray on his own motion dismissed a State supreme court appeal in a suit aimed at enjoining the School Land Commission from cutting delinquent loan payment penalties from 10 to five percent. Twister damages farm home injuring five near Mill Creek
Ardmore May 13 The farm home of George Bureh near Mill Creek was destroyed by a twister last night. Five family members were injured, three seriously. At Berwyn northeast of Ardmore, hallstones broke windows on Main street but no injuries were reported. Corinne Vanderslice, 12, daughter of Murray county school superintendent John Vanderslice, died of a heart attack blamed on fright during the storm at Sulphur.
