Berlin may 13 The Central Committee of the Independent Socialist party in Die Freiherr appeals despite no real changes expected at Versaille urging workers across nations to unite against capitalism for a world revolution. The message condemns the treaty’s harsh terms.
Pontotoc County Good Roads Association will hold a 1 P M meeting at Ada courthouse to plan road repairs and promote oil cities highway and other national roads. Directors, farmers, and business people urged to join and support efforts to improve dirt roads and prepare for future hard surface projects without direct taxation.

Last night about eleven, Louis George and Bill Pennington in the American Express office heard a disturbance at the rear. A form from a tailor shop was placed against a window, an entry attempt via the transom was made, and Pennyington fired a warning shot into the air as the intruder vanished.

From Mexico City a high official reports Villa forces leveled five bridges on the National Railway of Mexico branch between Torreon and Chihuahua. The rising boldness of Villa’s attacks alarms northern Mexico as troops are hurried to the area.
Mrs Woodrow Wilson tours the American Red Cross tent city in Paris aiding 1600 soldiers on leave. She surveys food prep and service, enjoys fresh pies, praises recreation huts and dormitories, and greets troops after an informal reception.
