The Ada Quarter Horse Sales Pavilion hosted a Saturday sale drawing consignments from Oklahoma Kansas Texas Louisiana Missouri and Iowa. The 141 horses grossed 181608 with top ten averaging 4830 led by Hy Pinkie bought for 8000. Auctioneers were Dean Parker and Tom Caldwell.

The Oklahoma Hereford Breeders Association convention runs April 4 and 5 at the Oklahoma-Sheraton Oklahoma City with Dr. Val Brungardt of Wisconsin leading the Thursday morning session on Red Meat Herefords. Also on Thursday morning Bill House, Bill Cameron, Gene Brinkman, Dean Spencer, and George Morse speak on taxation, selling Herefords, and related topics. Paul Swaffar will give the luncheon address and four workshops follow in the afternoon.
