Glenwood Park Receives Bright Playground Facelift
A volunteer coalition in Ada raised nearly 5000 dollars to install new playground equipment at Glenwood Park. Ada Playground Improvement Association backed by the Park Department and city leaders organized islanded installations with the help of church groups Pi Kappa Alpha East Central students and local residents. A geodetic dome and a rocket are among the new features with more arrivals planned in the coming weeks.

The Ada Quarter Horse Sale over two days grossed 451,992 with 296 of 325 consigned horses sold. Fleeting Charge, a brown mare from J. E. Baker Oklahoma City, sold for 10,000 to Leo E. Boschert St. Charles Mo. Miss Barry, consigned by Wilbur Bolin Cave Springs Ark, was among top sellers.

Byng OKs Bond Issue in School Election
Byng patrons approve a $30,000 bond to build an auto mechanics building, add a classroom, brick veneer, and restrooms at the grade and high schools. Allen Agricultural Banquet Set For April 2 In Allen
About 200 farmers ranchers and businessmen are expected at the fourth annual Allen Agricultural Banquet in the Allen High School gym on April 2 at 7 p.m. The banquet meal will cost 1.50 dollars.
