W E Dillon a 38 year old Midland Valley brakeman from Muskogee died Wednesday night after injuries from a fall beneath a moving freight car. He was amputated below the knees at an Ada hospital, received a blood transfusion, and was reported improving before infection set in and proved fatal. Funeral arrangements were posted by Criswell Funeral home.

Forest Fire Still Rages In Kiamichi Mountain Areas
