Oakman Sports Club Holds Meet and Elects Officers
Oakman Sportsman's Club members held a regular meeting in the Oakman School gym. Officers were re-elected to retain current leadership: George Carter president Albert Peverhouse vice president Mildred Current secretary treasurer Effie Tharpe Ben White Veda Magar food committee. Plans to drain and burn cattails around the lake were approved to improve fishing conditions before the season. A film on George Washington's River followed the business session. The next meeting is set for April 1 with a potluck supper.
