Democratic leaders in Ada call a meeting of the old Democratic Club at the Court House on Friday night March 6 to reorganize the club and discuss important matters. J H Cabeen chairs this appeal and urges all town Democrats to attend.
Mr Coburn reports the Commercial Hotel, now under his management, will be ready for paper hanging in a few days. Repairs are progressing steadily, and the right man is in the right place.
The Commission will hold hearings at Atoka in the Choctaw Nation Indian Territory from March 10 to 13, 1908. Intermarried Choctaw and Chickasaw citizens not yet testified may appear to discuss their status as of September 25, 1902, the ratification date of the act. Tams Bixby, Chairman.

E J Thomas announces this week his run for Commissioner Assessor and Collector pending voter action. He asks for support, pledging to use his abilities to faithfully perform the duties of the office and urging consideration of his claims.

A letter from C M Campbell of Ardmore to deputy clerk Jno S Hammer outlines the Ada district boundaries for recording deeds and mortgages. It defines the district starting at the south Canadian river on the Choc taw Nation boundary, then south to the township line between townships one and two, then west to the range line between ranges three and four east.
Clerk C M Campbell notes a February 19 enactment extending chapter 97 of Mansfield's digest to the Indian Territory. Mortgages filed or recorded since the 19th will transfer to the proper office. Filing indexing cross indexing costs 25 cents. recording per section 3243.
At a Tuesday meeting led by S R Tolberti the old town group outlined aims to boost streets, alleys, schools and public welfare without harming the south end. A citizen slate elected J B Grigsby chair and appointed committees for schools and streets with a plan to canvass voters for alderman candidates. The group argues old town, about one third of the city’s area and voting power, deserves proportional council representation and potential city status as a second class, with ward changes to fit population.

In the United States Court in the Indian Territory Southern District Annie Gladu sues G Gladu. The defendant is warned to appear in thirty days and answer the complaint. Dated March 5 1903 by judge John S Nammer and attorney E Baeay. B C King appointed attorney for nonresident defendant.
City officials last week issued a corrected note clarifying the amount of script unpaid for April. The revision changes the year from 1903 to 1902 and fixes the April date phrasing.
