Traffic cases filed last week in Pontotoc County
Fifteen traffic cases were filed in peace justice courts Tuesday bringing the weekend total to 29 with four on Monday and 10 on Saturday. Patrolmen Gay Van Arsdell and Mitchell push for enforcement to reduce accidents and deaths on county highways. Arthur Corrales of Lawton was cited for speeding two miles west of Stonewall and must appear in peace justice court. Carl Gene Stephenson of Ada faces a similar charge.

Two County Boys Have Accidents

The Newlands fed and sheltered it in a weighted screen box until Thursday morning when the animal slipped free and followed Mr. Newland. They fear releasing it to the woods due to potential raids on their poultry and ask if anyone has information about the animal.
