Bids Open For Conservancy Work In Upper Clear Boggy District
Sealed bids for vegetation and earthfill work on sites 9 10 11 13 and 44 of the Upper Clear Boggy conservancy district are due by 5 PM June 16 at the Coalgate Chamber of Commerce. Bids require a 20 percent bond. Work includes seedbeds seeding mulching and earthfill for floodwater retardation and spillways. Inspections contact George C Brown SCS Coalgate. Existing contracts for sites 1a 23 of Sandy Creek watershed will begin soon. Total approved contracts across Pontotoc Coal and Johnson counties total 143 011.
