Shawnee Osage June 8 The potato shipping season opened with discouraging activity only one significant deal due to extremely low prices per bushel. The crop is green watery and unfit to ship, with warmer weather needed to lift demand. City council met with Mayor Duncan. Aldermen Mason Collins Fowler Walsh Harrison and Recorder Warren present. Committees reported on Oak and Johnson streets and cemetery terms were rejected as unfair. An ordinance condemning 20th street and opening an alley was adopted and the council adjourned.

Another Snyder Victim Died After Cyclone Wreck
