Woodrow Coffey, 1, of Ada, drowned Friday in about 15 feet of water when a small fiberglass boat capsized on a lake owned by Judge James Mathers, four miles north and two west of Tupelo. Edgar Ardrey, 721 W Fourth, survived after clinging to a tree stump until two other fishermen pulled him from the water. The incident occurred while Coffey and Ardrey fished for catfish. Coffey reportedly stood to cast when the boat tipped and capsized.
