The ouster action against W A Peck county clerk was dismissed not affecting criminal charges slated for September term in district court. District Judge Busby ruled evidence of derelictions before Peck’s term could not be used. No new charges were filed yesterday or today as auditors continue work. SG Was returned to Oklahoma City after making no statement.
Tulsa attorney William A. Breckinridge was suspended from practicing law for 30 days by the Oklahoma Supreme Court after publishing a Tulsa World letter criticizing the O. O. Owens contempt case. The court said he misstated facts and law and urged public critique must not undermine judicial authority.
Oklahoma's 45 mile per hour speed limit on state highways was ruled unconstitutional by the state supreme court. The court found the Eleventh legislature failed to place the subject matter in the title and the provisions could not be treated as an amendment. Sid Masters, arrested for 40 mph, was released on bond pending decision.
At the Ada News office the Twilight League will award prizes for the season and discuss league matters. Parker Brewer led batting with .469 and won $25. Powell and Owens were top hitters, with several tied categories in triples, doubles, home runs, and strikeouts. New York July 26 Jack Delaney of Bridgeport Conn relinquished the light heavyweight title after claiming he cannot make 175 pounds and was granted permission by the state athletic commission to fight as a full heavyweight Pete Riley his manager announced the action paving the way for Delaney to meet Paulino Azend in Spanish heavyweight at Yankee Stadium August 11 under Tex Rickards promotion both fighters already came to terms with Rickard.
Daily average crude oil production rose by 37 269 barrels in the week ending July 23. Oklahoma led gains with a 33 630 barrel per day increase driven by Seminole output, passing the half million barrel mark in the state.

Frisco officials show favorable consideration for bringing the motor car to Ada from Frisco. J L Douglas traveling passenger agent says the car would run Frisco to Ada in the day and return by night, enabling northbound business travelers to start early and finish before bedtime. Ada Chamber of Commerce and boosters push the plan with local support.
Two automobile accidents on Thursday afternoon cost two children their lives or injuries. Mary Louise Vaden, three, was struck by a large car but survived with minor injuries and shock after the driver swerved to avoid her. Jimmy Petty, seven, was seriously injured when run over by a car on Up Townsend Avenue as playmates crossed the street. Neither driver blamed.
Oklahoma City July 23 8 The attorney general's office approved two Ada bond issues 45000 for sewer extension and 17500 for a white way After weeks of delay the bonds were released and funds may be paid The city plans to publish contractor notices early next week and bids may start Tuesday The bonds were sold to the Oklahoma State Bank with a premium and the city followed intended law phrases rather than exact wording by Holt and Mayor Somer Jones.
Production from the Allen field accelerates as two newly drilled deep sand wells come online. The Melslroy No 1 and W. R. In Philadelphia on July 26 Jack Dempsey answered Kearns suit seeking 19999.99 by counter claiming 273926. He says Kearns was terminated due to criminal charges in 1904 Washington and a 1914 Kings County case under the alias Mc Kernan. He cites his need for unimpeachable character in management.
Roads to the Allen oil fields from Ada are in excellent condition after improvements by County Commissioner Chess Roberts. Two routes exist via Steedman then north or Francis then the Francis Allen highway, both passable at high speed with new grading on section lines.
Oklahoma City July 26 The Oklahoma state supreme court upheld Lincoln county highway bonds totaling 1 200 900 dollars affirming the district court decision denying injunctions by county taxpayers. The court ruled that bond election fell under former statutes and those laws should govern the issue rather than a later act signed the same day as the election.
