In Dunkirk New York two Brooks plant workers were slightly injured and passengers fled as a freight locomotive built for the Denver and Rio Grande railroad sped from the Brooks yard onto the New York Central line. The engine derailed and overturned near Main Street as bystanders watched in alarm.
