Father Induces Son to Surrender in Greer County Survey Report
A father delivers his son to officers after a deranged act directed at a train. The Oklahoma Geological Survey spent last week in Greer county surveying gypsum and salt deposits. They report six gypsum ledges about seventy feet thick across 400 square miles, with extensive sink holes and vast gypsum potential. Brine springs at Salton, Chaney’s plant, and Kiser’s plant yield 25 000 to 75 000 gallons daily. The party plans to continue work along Red River into Comanche county.
