Charley Rainey of Ahloso was killed by a south bound Katy passenger train about a mile from Ada. The body was taken to Stonewall and buried at Frisco Cemetery by the Odd Fellows. He left a wife and nine children, oldest about fourteen.

All railroads in Oklahoma will sell tickets at the two-cent rate after July 14. At 12:00 a.m. Frisco railroad, the last trunk line to comply with the attorney general agreement, will establish the two-cent fare within the state. The delay was caused by the road’s change of management since it went into receivership.
