It surrendered the husband to Colorado authorities on charges of kidnapping his 15 year old bride Wanda McAlester from her Pueblo home. A district court jury in Bartlesville convicted Alvie Wright and Leslie Cameron of murder for the shotgun slaying of Sheriff Hugh Owen of Nowata County on October 12.
