In 1943 Glen Johnson of Vanoss was paralyzed by a work accident in California. After prayers and family support he chose cabinet making with Vocational Rehabilitation help. He adapted tools to his wheelchair and learned to work independently, shaping a new life for himself and his family.
Heavy mist and rain moved through Monday and Tuesday with a blizzard like snow that left six inches in the county. The natural resources plan promotes state water conservation and interstate boards via compacts with federal advisory roles. Delegates also urged correcting inequities in acreage allotments and marketing quotas within states and farms.
