Morning at Purina Ranch Proves Busy
Purina Ranch hosted a busy Tuesday morning with lectures and a ranch tour covering most pastures. Rupert Green, Ranch Manager, outlined the layout using a large map and numbered pastures while cattle tags indicated type and numbers. Dr. J L Williamson led the tour, noting the big layout and the well kept Hereford cattle, adequate creeks and ponds, and a creek that hasn’t run dry in many years even in droughts.
