Francis Man Dies In One Car Accident
A two year old Francis man was killed Wednesday when his compact station wagon ran off the road two miles north of Purcell and overturned. John Lee Stinson, 62, of Francis, died later in an Oklahoma City hospital from injuries. Services for Stinson are pending at Smith Funeral Home. The crash raised Oklahoma's 1970 traffic toll to 7, with two other deaths reported that day.
