In San Antonio on December 4, County Judge Augustus Mc Closkey the Democratic congressman elect from the 14th district was indicted by the Bexar county grand jury on multiple counts for alleged irregularities in handling election returns in his race with Republican Harry M Wurzbach. Also charged were Charley Ramirez his secretary and Elmo Wernette of the city health department. Ramirez and Mc Closkey were arrested. Charges cite alteration of election returns.
