Seventy four bulls weighing at Ardmore Oklahoma on November 19 1970 are evaluated for average daily gain ADG in the first 5 day segment of a 56 day test. Leaders include Santa Gertrudis Angust Hereford Crossbreds and Charolais with ADG up to 6.25 pounds. Bulls come from 25 Oklahoma and Texas ranches and range from 475 to 12 months at start with a 20 day warm up.

USDA Allocates Funds For Flood Cleanup Aid

Ada High Students Face Narcotics Sale Charges
Two 16 year old Ada High School students, Jerry Vandiver and David Rose, were charged in district court with unlawful sale of stimulants for selling five methamphetamine pills and Vandiver faces an additional charge for sale of marijuana. They were granted 24 hours to plead. The alleged sales occurred in two local cafes.

Accidental Shot Injures Two People Sunday
A 15 year old boy accidentally discharged a 20 gauge shotgun at a Latta area home injuring Lena Derryberry and her father-in-law Barney Derryberry. Both were treated at Valley View Hospital and released. Deputy Sheriff Taz Hixson said Wade Derryberry slipped the safety while in a bedroom as his mother and grandfather were nearby in the kitchen.
