Two Injured When Car Leaves Road Near Coalgate
R. E. Johnson of Stonewall and Mrs Thelma Owens of Ada were hospitalized after a car went off a culvert south of Coalgate around 7 PM Wednesday. Johnson suffered a serious scalp wound and a deep cut on his hand while Owens sustained severe head lacerations. Johnson said he dozed off, waking only upon reaching Coalgate. They were transported to Ada by ambulance from Coalgate.

Stolen car recovered. teen driver arrested in Gainesville
A sedan stolen Monday night from C. C. Price at 731 West Ninth was recovered Tuesday by Gainesville Texas police. A 14 year old boy identified as Bob Johnson was said to be the driver. Ada police had broadcast the car and Gainesville police notified the chief Roy Keller.
