Capt. Troy Ward commander of the 143rd Engineer Treadway Bridge company of Wilburton describes morale as good. The unit, connected with the Fourth Army, is the only non divisional Oklahoma unit and was organized Sept 15 1649. It trains at Camp Polk La and will be inducted Sept 20 with 134 wartime strength, 33 current members, and 10 new recruits this week.
