Lifeboats Resue 37 Crew From Western Farmer in English Channel
In gale conditions off Goodwin Sands near Southeast England, two British lifeboats rescued 37 crew members of the American Western Farmer after the freighter split and sank following a collision with the Norwegian tanker Bjorgholm.
