Thousands are expected at Konawa for the Oklahoma All Night Sing ing Association fourth annual session. Lt Gov George Nigh and former Governor Henry Bellman slated to speak. The event runs 7 p m to 5 or 6 a m with 31 top groups booked.

Dr. Harvey Price led a Pontotoc County Cattlemen's Association tour of Ada area ranches on Saturday. The event aimed to become an annual trip with several private cars and a Vanoss FFA school bus. Stops included Dotson, Cummings, Wardow Sheaffer, and McDaniel Ranches, ending with a large barbecue at McDaniel Ranch and about 100 tour participants and 200 at the feed.

Ewing Leaves County Post For Hollis
J. Sid Ewing assistant county agent left Ada Tuesday afternoon for Hollis to head a cattle hog and feed operation. He came to Ada in May 1966 and was honored at a farewell coffee in the courthouse. He praised Ada for its 4H program and good leaders and invited friends to visit in Hollis.
