Aug. 29 Deadline To Register For Sept Vote
County voters must register by 5 p.m. August 29 for the September 9 election. Ada teen Prevented Fire Tragedy With Brave Action
Mark Sites a 15 year old Ada sophomore and Boy Scout acted fast Tuesday when smoke seeped from a neighbor’s home. He alerted the fire department, escorted the elderly resident to safety, removed burning food from the stove and opened windows and doors to clear smoke. The neighbor Mrs Cordell later served him a plate of food.
