Konawa Man Killed by Lightning in County
Correspondence from Over the County reports Claude Morrow was struck by lightning Monday afternoon seven miles northeast of Konawa while returning home. His two children were thrown from the wagon. Morrow leaves a wife and three children. His body laid to rest in the Vamorsa cemetery. The item also notes local visits, travels to Arkansas, baptisms at Maxwell, and various community happenings, including church meetings and social visits around Konawa and nearby areas.
