Merchants and Planters Bank doubles capital to 100000
The Merchants and Planters National Bank of Ada Oklahoma has been granted an increase in capital stock from fifty thousand to one hundred thousand dollars. The move adds about fifteen stockholders from leading local merchants farmers and business men. President M R Chilcutt remains in place with P S Case as vice president and George Taylor as cashier. The bank has a strong history including solid profits and steady growth through wars and crises. The new stock was sold to officers stockholders and close friends with most purchases going to the M and P family.
