Marshall Cummings age 18 was found guilty of assault and battery for whipping his 64 year old father at a farm west of Ada. He was fined 10 dollars plus costs and sentenced to 30 days in jail. He knocked his father down Saturday night and was arrested and returned to Ada early Sunday.
