Washington April 21 Harry F Sinclair was acquitted of conspiring to defraud the government in the Teapot Dome lease case. The jury found he paid Fall 233000 in Liberty bonds 35000 in cash as part of Fall's ranch, not a deal to transfer the Wyoming reserve. Sinclair faces contempt charges still pend ing in the appeals court for answering no questions and hiring detectives.

The Scott hotel in Holdenville, a three story limestone structure built in 1895, was partially destroyed by fire with several guests escaping narrowly. Loss is estimated at 15,000 dollars.
