A stockholders meeting of the Indian Territory Game Preserve and Lodge is set for May 1 in Paris Texas. The firm seeks to claim 25000 acres in the Choctaw nation as a game preserve with deer turkey and bears while adding pheasants elk and other game. Land valued at 25 cents per acre may be bought by a congressional act. The president serves as a charter member and supports the legislation. The preserve would feature a clubhouse near mineral springs eight miles from the Frisco line.

Carter of Tennessee left today for Forney, Texas to begin a revival there. A purse of 300 dollars plus a free will offering was presented this morning.
Deputy Sheriff Fatally Wounds Soldier in Oaklawn Arrest
Deputy Sheriff Stoneman of Canadian county yesterday shot Private John Tucker of Company E twenty fifth infantry at Fort Reno after Tucker resisted arrest and opened fire. Tucker died of his wounds.
