ADA NEWS Burns Again Fire Damages Pressroom
A Monday night fire at ADA NEWS damaged the press and facilities for the second time in just over two years. Fire officials traced the blaze to a vent and overhead heater in the press room, with smoke and fumes hampering crews. The big press sustained major damage, and the paper’s business manager called the loss one of the most serious in the paper’s history. Firefighters worked through smoke to prevent spread while crews began dismantling and cleaning the damaged machinery.
