Ebey Reseeds 800 Acres of Tespedoza by Plane Runway Rescue
Wet weather halted Ebey’s spring reseeding leaving 800 acres of tespedoza bare after last year’s 80 percent kill from heavy rains. Ebey plans a ten day aerial reseed with two to three tractors, hoping to beat further rain delays and push calves to market by July or August.

County home demonstration club members will travel by way of Poteau to Fort Smith Arkansas on Tuesday April 16 for an educational tour of the historic site Old Fort Smith established in 1818. The trip includes a museum two furniture factories and a cannery as highlights. Reservations close Friday at 5 with round trip tickets priced at 5 dollars meals not included.
