Friday's issue reports a MacThwaite well two miles west of Ada blowing sand and debris at 1100 feet. Company says it shows commercial size potential and will spur further drilling nearby, with leases likely to rise in value.
The MacThwaite gas well near Ada reports a flow not less than 6 000 000 feet with 400 pounds pressure before the casing head blew off. A second Ada well aims for 10 000 000 feet as capping improves. Oklahoma City reports strong crop prospects with wheat 88 percent, oats 83 percent, alfalfa 92 percent and fruit conditions generally improving despite a cold wave.
Congressman Carter explains in a letter to Elias Edwards that the per capita amendment failed due to Mississippi Choctaw enrollment advocates. He notes senators may refile in the senate, but the house vote blocks distribution until enrollment is settled, and a committee will study the matter next Tuesday.

Governor of La Paz revolts in Lower California, seizes the steamer Bonita with volunteers, frees prisoners, and plunders about $50,000 in business funds and government money.
New York reports claim serious rebel defeats at Torreon and federal mastery. General Moore with 5,000 reinforcements from Saltillo nears Torreon while authorities say 1,000 rebel casualties occurred at Monclova. Juarez notes federal columns menacing Torreon with Villa dispatching Urbina and Herrera to block the advance.
A bulletin from the Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College reports Oklahoma loses about 150 000 hogs annually to childre and other diseases that could be prevented. The college distributes hog cholera serum at cost, claiming it prevents illness and makes hogs 95 percent immune when used as directed, offering hope to hog producers statewide.
The Oklahoma Peacherop was considerably damaged by telegraph Saturday night.
Washington reports the House votes 247 to 161 to repeal the coastwise shipping exemption in the Sims bill. Speaker Champ Clark loses support as Representative Peters reads a supportive Olney letter, while Clark rails against toll exemptions and faces a party division in the final roll.

A mob of about 100 masked men hanged Marie Cott, a Black woman, from a telephone wire after breaking into Wagoner jail. They had earlier stabbed Lemuel Peace, a White man, Sunday night. The sheriff removed the body. authorities investigate as public sentiment favors the mob.
Mrs. J. C. Van De Lande of Kirkland Illinois credits Electric Bitters with sustaining her during three months of nursing a relative and says she will never be without the remedy.
