All claims must be presented with vouchers at the Barton and Roland law offices Ada Oklahoma within four months from the first publication date July 16 1909 August 19 1909.
The Williams meeting attracts growing crowds though the evangelist expresses disappointment at results. The Baptist church reports twenty new members with more joining other churches. The Corporation Commission issued a ruling on Ross Tipton’s complaint against Ada Ice Co. The decision allows a price split with four prices: forty cents per hundred in business districts, forty five cents in residences with coupon books, fifty five cents for cash, and three dollars per ton for railcar ice. Ice manager H B Frick says the changes threaten the company financially and seeks a rehearing in Guthrie.
Postmaster Young reports Ada post office receipts for the year ending June 30 total about 9500 dollars, a rise of 500 over the prior year. This places Ada within 500 dollars of qualifying for free delivery, with sidewalks meeting the required standards.
