Death of J. M. Ausinus After Long Cancer Battle

After two years of cancer suffering J M Ausinus longtime resident of this section died Saturday morning at the home of R Whisenant two miles east of town. The body was interred at Oakman cemetery Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Funeral services were led by Rev. D J Austin. The bereaved family has the heartfelt sympathy of the entire country.

Judge West moved the Impson case to Coalgate after a venue request. A jury returned a not guilty verdict early the next morning following a murder indictment with Mack Lee and the Scribners for Zeke Putnam’s death at Allen.
