Normal and Tahlequah meet on baseball diamond
The Normal football team lost to Tahlequah Normal 27 to 0 in a hard fought game at the old baseball diamond. About 100 spectators attended. Next Friday at Tishomingo the third game will be played with a regular coach expected by then. Briles and Lucas raised 150 dollars for a coach. Mrs. McGurrn went to Oklahoma City to spend Sunday with friends. The first lecture will be at the Methodist church on Oct 28. Ahloso meeting starts Sunday 11:00 at the schoolhouse to continue through the week with Rev Hodges assisting. Rev A B Norrell to conduct Presbyterian service Sunday evening. Mesdames Bills and Ebey plan a trip to Fort Worth Tuesday.
