Carter Calls for Repeal of Objectionable Clause in Oklahoma

Dorsett Carter urges Oklahoma voters to repeal the clause that blocks small roads from being absorbed by larger ones. He favors selling the Oklahoma Central to Santa Fe to create a first class feeder line. The Ada note mentions millinery offerings and new arrivals at Model Mill Shop on South Broadway.

Oklahoma Central Nears Completion in Ada Transport Upgrade

The Oklahoma Central extension into town will be finished in about a week. The depot will be on Main Street west of the Frisco. The line's completion ends a long dispute between the railroad and Ada citizens and adds valuable transport facilities.

Professor Leo Butt Dies at Mill Creek

Professor Leo Butt, who taught at Ada High School last year and served as Mill Creek principal this term, died Monday of typhoid fever. He was a popular teacher whose influence guided local youths and earned him high regard in the town.

Rapid Progress Reported On Oil And Gas Well
