Notice records the dissolution of the Daggs and Stocker partnership with the first name retaining the business and assuming all debts. Ada Oklahoma February 21 1910. The tax payment deadline for 1909 falls on the 31st and delinquent taxes incur an eighteen percent penalty.
J M Eaton announces his candidacy for the Second District County Commissioner in the Democratic primary. He has lived near Ada and Center for ten years and pledges low taxes, good roads and bridges, and improved schools with longer terms. He says the commissioner controls public funds and must serve the public interest.
Friday night a blaze at I Harris's store started in oily rags left by painters and was soon put out with no damage. Monday morning another fire began at Dorsey’s bakery from an oil stove. it was quelled but Mr. Dorsey sustained severe burns on his hands.
Tom Birdwell's bond for appeal failed as he returned to trouble after two weeks. He was surrendered by bondsmen and sent to McAlester penitentiary along with eight others including Wil Dexter and Harley Hudson for horse stealing and forgery. Raymond Williams received a pardon powers but was re detained before release.
Madame Whitmore will not open formally at the Model Millinery Parlor on South Broadway but new hats arrive and will be on display today and after.

In our announcement column the names W. T. Cox and Prof. T. F. Pierce appear as candidates for re election to the offices of District Clerk and County Superintendent respectively. We planned a fuller discussion this week including J. W. Davis's platform but crowding forces postponement until next week.
Mr J R Ritter and family visited S M Dial and family Sunday. Lagrippe and pneumonia cases reported. Miss Hettie Dial reports school full attendance. Bud Duckaby and Miss Llewallen wed last Friday night with a dance. District No 3 Literary improving with debates and recitations. Shaw and family visiting Maxwell from St Louis Oklahoma. Summerhall group forms an engine class. Farmers busy planting corn cotton and gardens. Over four thousand pounds of Irish potatoes brought in on the seventh. Death claims Sam Tsanes, survived by four children and an elderly mother.
The Union Accident Co. paid several claims without final proof on Wednesday. Names include Addison E A, Anderson C, Dalton R L, Duncan Lewis, Hardin Mansel, Keahey Mrs F A, Lee John, Phillips John, Threat J S, Templeton. R N Hounshell is the local representative.
George Thompson says his forthcoming Democrat announcement will declare his candidacy for sheriff in the next issue, outlining his plan and qualifications for the role.
