A serious wreck occurred on the Frisco near Scullin last Monday. The northbound passenger train traveled at normal speed but a burning bridge appeared in dense fog. The engineer and fireman jumped to safety as the engine plunged through the bridge. The front mail coach halted with trucks over broken rails. no passengers were injured. The fog prevented sighting ten yards ahead, and no blame is placed on the engineer.
